Amber screams as the vampire lands on top of her, desperately trying to claw her throat. Amber rolls in the bed, pinning the vampire to the mattress. Amber punches the man in the face repeatedly, more blood covering her fist each time she retracts it. Mabel rushes towards Amber, but Amber reaches backwards. Mabel stops abruptly, and fights against the invisible force to no avail. Amber continues to beat the other vampire while clenching her other hand into a fist, causing Mabel to crush under her force. She lets go of Mabel's crumpled body, and turns to the vampire under her.
"Who sent you?"
"I .I ."

Mason bends his knees, and lifts the couch off the carpet. Brittney stands with her parents, Tina and Owen, all three staring in shock at Mason's display of strength. Bryan, the little brother, claps happily as Mason lifts the couch up and down above his head. Mason places the couch back on the ground, and then stretches his arms.
"Truly amazing," Tina says in awe.
"Thanks," Mason says in a nasally voice, his nose covered in bandages.
"Do you think you could help me move some stuff around the house?" Owen asks.
Tina shoots Owen a look.
"Kidding," he says in response to the look his wife gave him.
Mason smiles, and Bryan tugs at his shor
The grenade sits on the counter in the kitchen, and Mason stares at it remorsefully. He loved this house. The footsteps from around the corridor become increasingly louder, so Mason picks up the grenade and walks to a nearby window.
"How did they find me?" he asks himself aloud.
He looks back into the room and takes a mental photo. He then pulls the pin to the grenade and tosses it deep into the clutter of the room. He dives out of the window, and does a tuck and roll on the soft grass outside. He rolls onto his feet and takes off running. Behind him the house explodes, and he can feel the warmth of the explosion on his back. He doesn't loo
Samuel fondles the side of his gun anxiously. The truck drives over the rough terrain, bouncing Samuel and the rest of the passengers around. Samuel does a quick mental check of his mission.
1. Kill the guards.
2. Grab the other rebels
3. Get them back to HQ
Samuel seems to be the only one not afraid of the AK-47 that he holds in his hands. The others seem to cower at the thought having to use. They'll get used to it, Samuel thinks to himself. A buzzing sensation tingles his leg, and Samuel reaches in his pocket and pulls out his phone.
"Hello?" Samuel answers.
"Have you guys made it yet?" a voice asks across the line.
"No Joseph. We

Fallen Angels Chapter 5 - Part 1
I woke up a couple hours later. The rain hadn't stopped, and it poured down with more intensity than before. I had a massive headache and I concluded it was from the bottle of alcohol I had just consumed. The scene of the Faith killing herself played over and over again in my mind. My eyes didn't turn watery. They stayed dry and anger replaced my sadness.
Why the hell did she do that?! I thought to myself. I stood up and grabbed my baseball bat. I stared at my reflection in the glass case protecting the alcoholic beverages and assorted sodas. I swung the baseball bat with all my strength and shattered the glass. Jasper looked up abruptly and

Fallen Angels Chapter 1 - Part 11
Strangely, I didn't sleep heavy that night, so I woke up to the sound of knocking on my door.
"John," I heard Sarah's voice through the door. "It's time to get up. We've got school."
"Ugh," I said. "Yeah, whatever. I'll be ready in a few." I groaned as I was forced to get up, or they would be ridin' my ass about this all day. Hate it when they actually try to wake me up.
